The voting deadline for the 2010 APA Election has passed. Ballots are being tallied and reviewed by the Committee of Tellers. Results will be announced the last week of February. Please forward any questions or concerns to election@psych.org.

Both the House and Senate have passed a 60-day delay for the Medicare SGR cuts that were scheduled to take effect January 1st 2010. This will allow a grace period while Congress continues to finalize its health reform proposal. A full update will be posted in the next issue of RushNotes.
